During the war between Dynasties Chu and Han, Xiang Yu was sieged in Gaixia, Han Xin used the bamboo and the cowhide to make a giant kite and carried the soldiers flying over the Chu camp and playing the Chu tune which successfully collapsed the Chu army to fail to work. And Chinese saying---Farewell My Concubine and Utterly Isolated were formed.
In Dynasty of the South, the nobles laid siege to the palace, the Emperor of East Jin, Jan Wen, asked for help by using the kite.
After Dynasty North Song, folks made “the double ninth festival” “the kite festival”, people flew high the kites and cut off the wire to symbolize that all the bad luck had gone with the wind.
